About Joe
Hi, I'm Joe, owner of Joseph Gomes Construction.
When people ask me how I became a contractor, I can honestly say I have been working in construction since I was a junior in high school. My dad was a builder. I have a great deal of respect for his skills, but I wanted to build houses on my own, so I earned my contractor's license in '88 and started Joseph Gomes Construction.
Since then, I have worked on many amazing projects, like a swimming pool showroom featuring a half-dozen differently themed rooms, and the remodel of a home that was a cross between an Eichler and and Streng, just to name a few.
I am a craftsman for all kinds of homes, but I particularly understand the unique challenges, and pleasures, of mid-century modern homes. This is because not only have I worked on dozens of them, byt we love living in our own Streng every day.
Some of my clients have owned their homes for 40+ years. Others are new homeowners who want to do projects like upgrading their bathrooms and kitchens, while at the same time, want to maintain the magic of living in a modern home. Either way, I have deep experience and am good at what I do, so please give me a call or drop me a line.

I'd love to hear more about your project and look forward to helping you get it done right – the first time.
